I have been contemplating my orientation to death work and my life as a whole.
Periodically, I will get the pull to re-evaluate where I am in all areas of my life. I reassess my intentions to see if what I am working towards still aligns with my heart.
Recently, I felt disconnected from my heart (more on that later), but once I admitted that, I remembered what helps me reconnect.
I reached out for support, and now things have landed more clearly than before.
This morning, I led an activity for a group of death doulas around setting intentions and goals in this work.
I was also taking myself through that process.
You can listen here for more depth on where I have landed:
Additionally, I wanted to gift the recording of this gathering for my growing community here to give folks a chance to move through this too.
And if you want more, I am gathering folks tomorrow to go deeper with this.
We will explore death work and what it means in these current times.
I would LOVE to have you.
Death work is community work.
It is a microcosm of all the ways we can participate in shaping the future timeline we want to see.
Now is the moment to look within, light the fire in your heart, and engage in whatever way best expresses that fire.
In this workshop, we will be tapping into our internal experience first as a way to anchor into our wisdom as our guidepost.
We will do this by:
Identifying practices for strength and longevity
Examining our relationship to grief & death
Claiming our desires and needs through Life Review
Co-creating our legacy
I’d love to have you join.
With love,
Lisa Marie
