Greetings beautiful ones,
I am dropping in with another practice for you!
I have decided to call this little series:
Tools for Transformation.
I will continue to share the tools I have used in my own life and with clients.
These tools are often simple and gentle; designed to bring us back to ourselves.
What I have found is that a level of repetition is helpful for establishing new patterns in the body and nervous system.
Whether it be movement, breath work, somatic practices, etc. - a level of consistency is part of the recipe. It might not do much for us the first time we try it, but over time we get familiar with the tools and begin to create more space within ourselves to hear the inner pulse of truth.
It is my intention that these practices aid in your navigation through transformation and help you feel held and supported.
I like this one because I find that when I’m working with unusual breath patterns, I am brought into presence quicker. We give the mind something to focus on in the present moment and allow it to serve the purpose of bringing us into a deeper connection with our body.
Let me know how it goes.
Until next time,
Lisa Marie xx
Although I've done all sorts of breathing practices, this particular pattern was new for me. Thus far I've practiced this one at least once a day since you taught us - have noticed a definite calming and grounding with it. Hehehe... something needed after listening to & reading the daily news.
That was wonderful! Thank you! I feel so completely embodied. 🩷
