I hope you haven’t given up on this. I have been a death worker for over a decade and have watched the growth of the death doula movement with some concern. The greatest flaw is that all the trainings out there ( and I teach in several) train people to do this work as individuals. This is communal work. I commend you for taking the steps to build community. And I would love to be a part of you build.

Absolutely! I am so grateful to hear your perspective on this. I have witnessed the same thing and it truly speaks to how this work is asking us to revolutionize how we look at death and how we structure models of care to remain well-resourced while being of service. <3
